Service

Platforms & Web Services: built to be deployed and operated.

Scalable architecture and implementation for real products, including the deployment and operational thinking that decides whether a platform stays up once people depend on it.

Who it's for

When this is the right fit.

What you get

What the work covers.

Architecture and full-stack implementation

Data models, APIs, integrations, and front ends designed together, so the platform reflects how the business actually works.

Deployment, TLS, and edge configuration

Reverse proxies, certificates, canonical domains, caching, and release processes with tested rollback points.

Monitoring that checks what users experience

Checks from outside your own network, including DNS and certificates, and confirmation that the right content is served — not just that a server answered.

Search, AI discoverability, and measurement

Canonical URLs, sitemaps, structured data, crawler verification, consent-aware analytics, and attribution that shows which channels lead to real conversations.

How it works

From first conversation to written scope.

  1. Talk it through

Send a note or book a 30-minute call. A finished specification is not required.

  2. Short written scope

I write a short scope based on our conversation: the problem, the approach, and what done looks like.

  3. Project or ongoing

A fixed-scope project or an ongoing arrangement, depending on need — alongside your team, independently, or both.

Proof

Where this comes from.

Rhythmhoüz

A multi-role professional network for the music industry, with server infrastructure, backend, middleware, and frontend designed and built end to end.

RecoverNode

Full-path monitoring and guarded recovery for self-hosted Linux services, with an open-source resilience audit.

Cool Cat Games

Cloud-plus-local deployment workflows for a live venue-entertainment platform.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What kinds of products and systems have you built?

Web-to-console game features for Electronic Arts titles, mobile games, a multi-role music-industry network, a venue-entertainment platform, a hospitality training system, and a Linux monitoring and recovery platform — plus, earlier, computer peripherals for remote interfaces and out-of-band power control.

Can you work on infrastructure we already run?

Yes. Much of my own work runs on self-managed Linux servers, so I work directly with reverse proxies, TLS, DNS, services, and monitoring rather than treating infrastructure as someone else’s problem.

How does an engagement start?

Send a note through the contact form or book a 30-minute call. You do not need a finished specification. After we talk, I write a short scope based on the conversation so we agree on the problem, the approach, and what done looks like before work begins.

Is it a fixed project or an ongoing arrangement?

Either, depending on what the situation needs. Some work is a fixed-scope project, such as building an MVP. Other work is an ongoing fractional CTO relationship. The written scope makes the choice explicit.

Do you work with an existing engineering team?

Yes. I can work alongside an existing team, build independently, or do both — for example, setting direction and standards for a team while personally delivering the parts that are blocking progress.
