About Barton Anderson

I build the system the opportunity requires.

My career has moved through systems integration, hardware, software, interactive entertainment, music, photography, hospitality and founder-built products. The common thread is practical problem solving.

Barton Anderson

The pattern

From systems integration to founder-built products.

I co-founded Lloyd-Allan Corporation in 1991. What began as systems integration evolved into manufacturing computer peripherals for remote interfaces and out-of-band power control.

Later work expanded into interactive entertainment, software, media, live production and product development, including projects associated with EA's NASCAR and NCAA franchises.

Today I apply that experience to products including Rhythmhoüz, Cool Cat Games, Bartenderz International and RecoverNode while also working with founders and teams that need an operating counterpart capable of moving between strategy and implementation.

Current approach

Agentic AI as an engineering multiplier.

AI changes the economics of building software, but it does not remove the need for judgment. I use agentic AI to increase the amount of research, engineering, testing and iteration that can happen around a problem while retaining human responsibility for architecture, product decisions and production quality.

What I bring

Product and network thinking

Understanding how technology, users, incentives and operations interact as one system.

Leadership under uncertainty

Making useful decisions when the specification is incomplete and the path is not obvious.

Hands-on execution

Staying close enough to implementation to know whether the strategy actually works.

Start here

You do not need a finished specification to begin.
